Black Owned Banks make a Deal with the Hawks

Working remotely, again, for a client in Ohio, we shot a feature on black owned banks around the country and their historic deal with the Hawks. The deal was for a $35 million contract for the Hawks to refinance their practice facility. We set up interviews with some key players, went to a barber shop in ATL, grabbed hero shots real quick, and recorded a closing dinner. Shot with the Fx9 and f5 as b-cam. The client wanted the people looking straight down the lens so we used an off-brand eyedirect (works just the same, costs way less!) and Brent actually ended up asking the questions..

This was a different shoot as the client was not in office, zoom, or there irl. They gave us a rundown on zoom the day before and sent over questions to ask the interviewees. We were given total freedom to set up the interviews how we liked and grab whatever b-roll we wanted. It felt a little weird, but honestly, the client was happy at the end of the day, so we are too!
