Nashville with Intersport
We hit the road on this adventure and went up to Nashville! It’s a beautiful drive through the mountains, if there’s no traffic in Chattanooga, it’s a quick trip. Got the squad on this one so you know we were going to have a good shoot!
We went to a restaurant called Nicky’s Coal Fired. We shot b-roll of their breakfast service in the kitchen and on the floor. They were also prepping their wood stove for the dinner service, which was really fun to watch. After breakfast (yes, they gave us bagels, yes they were on point), we set up some interviews. Our subjects did a “virtual” letter to their Governor of their stories of resilience during COVID, that they accomplished on their own.
We shot a 2 camera with Fx9. They client wanted the subjects to look right down the lens, so we use an eye direct so they could make eye contact through mirrors. We had to stop for sound a couple times (of course, jk -wasn’t his fault) due to some incredible rainfall on a metal roof.
It’s always good shooting with friends, makes everything fun and smooth. You can check out the finished product here:
