Hawks Media Day

We’ve been super busy this October, so I’ve got a back log of shoots to write blogs for! We went to Hawks Media day earlier this month with Bleacher Report to interviews some of the rookies.

We shot down at PC&E sound stages and were given what appeared to be someone’s office to shoot a 2 camera sit down. It was a beautiful room - grey walls with grey sound dampening rectangles and of course, grey carpets. It wasn’t going to look great, so we decided to go with black back drops on either side of the room. I lit with a china ball and a couple tubes for back light. Audio had a heck of a time getting the mics in there. For some reason, the room was attached to another. In-between them was a single window that he flew the booms through. It was a very interesting day of trying to fit things, people, cameras.
